Excessive dust is the most frequent problem in the use of shot blasting machines, which not only pollutes the workshop environment and endangers the health of operators, but also easily triggers environmental inspection issues. At the same time, dust accumulation can affect the service life of equipment and reduce the quality of workpiece processing. Kechang Machinery has compiled a complete investigation and solution for the problems of poor dust removal and dust leakage in shot blasting machines.

1. Dust removal system malfunction: The core reasons are clogged filter cartridges, damaged filter cartridges, and insufficient fan airflow. Long term operation of equipment can lead to dust accumulation and blockage of filter cartridges, decreased air permeability, and significantly reduced dust removal efficiency; Damaged filter cartridges can directly lead to dust leakage. Users need to regularly clean the dust on the filter cartridge, replace it with a new one in a timely manner based on wear and tear, and check the operation status of the fan to ensure that the air volume and pressure meet the standards.
2. Poor sealing of equipment: The aging, damage, and looseness of the sealing strips on the maintenance doors, observation windows, and inlet and outlet ports of the machine can lead to dust leakage from gaps during operation. Regularly inspect the sealing components of the entire machine, replace aging rubber strips, and confirm that all cabin doors are closed and locked before operation to ensure the overall sealing of the equipment.
3. Pipeline blockage or air leakage: Dust accumulation and blockage in the dust removal pipeline, loose pipeline interfaces and air leakage can cause dust to be unable to be recovered normally and the dust removal system to fail. Regularly unclog the dust removal pipeline, check the sealing of pipeline interfaces and flange connections, promptly reinforce the seals, and ensure smooth dust circulation and recovery.
4. Improper operating conditions: Excessive number of workpieces and high operating frequency in a single operation, exceeding the dust removal load of the equipment, can cause instantaneous dust exceeding the standard. It is necessary to strictly follow the rated operating conditions of the equipment, avoid overload operation, match reasonable operating intervals, and ensure the stable operation of the dust removal system
